My art is on the news & I made a YouTube video!
Hello there! It’s October and Fall is here!!! The weather is slightly cooler now in SD!
Yes, my art made it on the news! On September 27th - I was an art vendor at Chula Vista’s Art Festival (CVFest)! It was the best vendor event I ever particapted in! There was a lot of people there and I sold a lot of original artworks!
Anyways, Kpbs.org interviewed me and took photos of my newest artwork! It was for their online art gallery! Unfortunately the interview didn’t make it but my artwork is on slide 4 on their slideshow! I am so blessed and thankful to have that opportunity!

Proverbs 16:24 - “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
God guided me to create something beautiful based on this verse. The verse means a lot to me because I used to struggle with a lot of negative self-talk. I overcame that by saying words of affirmation and constantly making an effort to be kind and give grace to myself. I’ve been saying words of affirmation for several months now, and it has helped me grow. This artwork represents that taking small steps, such as saying encouraging words to you and/or others, really helps. Words have such a deeper meaning when its used positively. Words can be healing. I wanted to share the beauty of that verse with artwork!
I explained most of the creative art process and meaning in a YouTube video! It shows my drawing process of using oil pastels, and in the background, I share more in-depth thoughts about the Bible verse. I did this to share the word of God with others and to uplift them as well. Check it out! It was uploaded yesterday, and nobody has seen it yet! Lol, I know God will guide others to watch the video :)
